Shipping policy

1. Shipping Methods and Carriers
To ensure the safety and quality of our products, we utilize the following services provided by Yamato Transport Co., Ltd.:

Standard Courier (TA-Q-BIN)
Scope: All products (Standard method).
Features: In-person delivery (signature required), package tracking, and insurance included. Date and time specification is available. -
Compact Courier (TA-Q-BIN Compact)
Scope: Select items that fit within the designated small box.
Features: In-person delivery, tracking, and insurance included. Date and time specification is available. -
Trackable Mail (Nekopos)
Scope: Small items with a total packaged thickness of 3cm or less.
Note: Delivered to the mailbox (no signature required). Date/time specification is NOT available. Compensation for loss or damage is limited. For high-value items, we recommend Standard Courier for secure in-person receipt.
2. Shipping Fees
- Standard Courier: Flat rate 2,800 JPY (Inc. tax) / 4,000 JPY (Inc. tax) for Okinawa and isolated islands.
- Compact Courier: Flat rate 1,000 JPY (Inc. tax).
- Trackable Mail: Flat rate 500 JPY (Inc. tax).
- Free Shipping Reward: Free domestic shipping for orders totaling 100,000 JPY (Inc. tax) or more in a single transaction.
*In the case of combined shipping for multiple items, the most appropriate shipping method will be selected by the Store at no additional cost.
3. Estimated Shipping Time
- Immediate Payment (Credit Card, etc.): Shipped within 5 business days after order confirmation.
- Post-Payment (Convenience Store, etc.): Shipped within 5 business days after payment is confirmed.
*Shipping is unavailable on weekends, national holidays, and long vacation periods (e.g., New Year holidays). In such cases, a notice will be posted on our website.
4. Delivery Date and Time Specification (Standard & Compact Only)
Available for dates 7 days or more from the order date.
- Time Slots: Morning / 14:00-16:00 / 16:00-18:00 / 18:00-20:00 / 19:00-21:00 (JST).
*Delivery times may vary depending on traffic and weather conditions.
5. Delivery to Temporary Accommodations (Hotels, etc.)
We accept deliveries to hotels for international travelers. To ensure successful delivery, please provide the following information in the "Notes" section at checkout:
- Check-in Date
- Full Name used for the hotel reservation
*The hotel may refuse delivery if the name does not match the reservation. The Store is not responsible for non-delivery due to carrier delays or arrival after your departure.
6. International Shipping
- Currently, we ship exclusively within Japan. We plan to expand our shipping capabilities to include international delivery in the near future. Announcements will be made on our website and social media once this becomes available.
7. Payment Methods
- Credit Card Payments
- Convenience Store Payment (Pre-payment): Must be paid within 5 days of order. Orders will be automatically cancelled if payment is not received within this period.
- Other: Various payments through Shopify Payments are available.
*Cash on Delivery (COD) is not supported.
8. Failed Delivery / Return to Sender
- If a package is returned due to an expired storage period, incorrect address, or refusal of receipt, the customer will be responsible for the actual cost of round-trip shipping and administrative fees.
- For orders that qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping cost incurred at the time of dispatch will be deducted from the refund if the item is returned due to customer-related reasons.
9. Packaging and Invoices
- Packaging: To safely deliver delicate vintage materials, items are packed in optimal sizes. Minor wrinkles may occur during transit.
- Invoices: To protect the environment and personal information, we do not include paper invoices. Please keep your order confirmation and shipping emails as your receipts. If you require a formal invoice, please request it in the "Notes" section during checkout.
