FAQ
About the product
Can I check the material of the fabric (silk, cotton, tsumugi, etc.)?
Kimonos are made from a variety of materials, including silk. Because our brand deals in second-hand kimonos, many of them do not come with a certificate certifying the material. Therefore, for products whose material is unknown, we label them as "material unknown."
Does antique material have a distinctive "smell"?
Our products have been dry cleaned, but some may retain the distinctive scent of old kimonos. Rather than washing, it is more effective to dry the kimono in the shade and ventilate it to remove the moisture and odor.
Is it possible that there are small scratches or blemishes that don't show up in the photos?
We manufacture our products using second-hand kimonos. We carefully select items with as few stains and dirt as possible, but some products may have slight discoloration or stains. These are natural changes that occur over time and are unavoidable due to the characteristics of old kimonos. We appreciate your understanding.
Are the colors you see on your computer or smartphone screen the same as the actual colors?
We strive to reproduce the colors and textures of the actual products as closely as possible for the images, 360-degree views, videos, and other digital data on this website; however, there may be differences between the actual products and the products depending on your viewing environment (monitor settings, device characteristics, etc.).
Regarding orders and delivery
Do you ship overseas?
Overseas sales and shipping are scheduled to begin within 2026. We may be able to accommodate individual requests, so please contact us via DM or inquiry form.
How many days does it take from placing an order to shipping?
Once your order is confirmed, it will usually be shipped within 5 business days.
Since each item is unique, will it sell out while I have it in my cart?
Please note that some items may be sold at the same time as events, etc., and may be sold out.
Can I cancel or change my order after it has been placed?
We do not allow cancellations or changes after an order has been confirmed.
If the product I received is different from what I expected, can I return or exchange it?
All of the products we handle are one-of-a-kind, reconstructed antique and vintage kimonos. As such, we cannot accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges for customer reasons (different from the image, wrong size, wrong order, etc.) after an order has been confirmed.
Can you issue an invoice or receipt?
For environmental and personal information protection reasons, we do not include a paper invoice. Please keep the order confirmation email and shipping confirmation email as detailed invoices. If you require a receipt, please specify this in the comments section when placing your order.
If I order multiple items separately, can they be shipped together?
If multiple items are ordered at the same time and to the same delivery address, we will ship them together whenever possible. You will only be charged shipping for one delivery.
How much does shipping cost? (Are there any conditions for free shipping?)
Shipping for dresses and jackets is 2,800 yen nationwide (plus 1,200 yen for Okinawa and remote islands).
For small items such as ties and scarves, you can choose between Nekopos (postage to your mailbox) for a flat rate of 500 yen nationwide or Takkyubin Compact (face-to-face pickup) for a flat rate of 1,000 yen nationwide.
Domestic shipping is free for purchases over 100,000 yen (tax included).
